US Soccer Player In Demand · May 7, 08:41 PM
According to Sky Sports, American soccer starlet Michael Bradley favors a move to Germany rather than try his hand at the BPL. Everton boss David Moyes is said to be a big admirer of Bradley, currently a midfielder with Herenveen.
Bradley’s agent confirmed that a move to Germany would be the most likely destination for his client. This seems odd to me considering the lack of impact that Landon Donovan had in the Bundesliga. However, it may be better for his long-term development as a soccer player rather than keeping the bench warm in Merseyside.

Freddy Adu - A Man Amongst the US MNT · Apr 2, 07:22 PM
I had the pleasure of going to the US MNT Olympic qualifier a couple of weeks ago when they defeated Canada three-nil. I really enjoyed the experience and Jose Altidore and Freddy Adu stood head and shoulders above the rest of the players on the field.
However, it was not what Adu accomplished on the pitch that impressed me the most, it’s what he did off it which made my impression of him increase exponentially.
After the game the US players as a team applauded all four sides of the crowd. Freddy Adu though spent time signing autographs and getting pictures taken with the fans. He must have done this for a good twenty minutes. That said two things to me about Freddy Adu – number one: he knows the game is all about the fans, number 2: when all of the other players had gone in to a warm dressing room, he was still out there with the fans – this puts him head and shoulders above his peers.
He certainly made an impact on me – he’s gone from being a kid with talent, to a man who recognizes what the game is all about. Sheer quality. Well done that man.
